Dear Reader,

I am an author of historical, contemporary and fantasy romantic fiction. Books are gifts that are meant to be unwrapped in the most careful of ways. And as authors, we must ensure that both the gift is worth uncovering. Creating stories, weaving plots and writing compelling characters is the offspring of passion. I always find that those stories with the most memorable characters are the most unforgettable. As a lover of history, I find it becomes important to make my characters a product of their natural environment; and bring into relief the spirit of their unique personality as it is influenced by the tenets and circumstances of their time. History, individual struggles, life and philosophy become intertwined as they affect the main storyline and characters. As a lover of romantic fiction, I believe characters should always have a reason to love, as well as an equally valid reason to be loved. Ralph Waldo Emerson said that "in good writing, words become one with things." I would add that in good romance writing, words become one with emotions.

Writing each book is a journey I take with excitement and trepidation. As a reader, I hope that in turning every page you will do me the honor of sharing the voyage with me.
